I have been recently searching for a new mannequin, as my poor little adjustable blue one (called suze) is falling apart beyond repair. :(
I came across these little beauties, and thought that they were too pretty not to share :) They are all covered in a range of vintage fabrics, from Cath Kidston to Laura Ashley!

It makes them as much of a decoration as they are a tool for making clothes!
I love the lacing detail down the back!
and a lovely range of vintage mannequins too...
... I think some definite saving up is in order!

Hello Sophie. Absolutely delighted that you have choosen my creations to display in your fabulous blog. Many thanks for your lovely comments too. Lucyxx
ReplyDeleteWow! I need a new mannequin also. They are amazing. I would definitely buy one if I lived in the UK :(
ReplyDeleteThose vintage ones are so gorgeous. My mum has a mannequin which she displays her bags, hats and scarves on, I may have to save up and invest because so often they're such pieces of art in themselves.
ReplyDeleteWell not that I need a new dress form but these are making me pretty jealous!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the blue one, although I wouldn't say no to any of the other ones! I need to get myself a mannequin, it might make fitting things a bit easier! haha xxx
ReplyDeleteThe corset strings up the back are wicked! Ugh, that was such a great idea it should have been mine. They seem perfect for decorating. You could keep post one in a main room with high visitor gawking potential visitors and you could use a cheaper jersey one for personal pinning.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about Suze! The first thing I put on my Mannequin was a thrifted 50s polka-dotted full-skirt dress. She's been Peggy ever since. Oh, Pegs, I love you. Have you had any more luck in finding a new one?
